HARVEST FESTIVAL

Harvest Festival Line-Up for 2019

(2020 Line-up will be Announced Soon)

Pigs and Pints

We are hosting a Viking-style slow-roasted pig on a spit with all the trimmings, served in Waterford’s famous floury Blaa on Bailey’s New Street, home of the Churchyard Sessions.

Some local Craft Beers and Ciders such as Viking Irish Cider from Passage East and a range of Metalman Craft Beers by the can will also be available. Expect a festival atmosphere with music and ample seating and if the beer and cider isn’t your thing, there’s a full bar inside The Reg.

This event will be PAYG and starting from 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday of Harvest Festival.

Oysters and Guinness

The freshest local oysters will be served at the Viking Longboat at Reginald’s Tower infront of The Reg from 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday of Harvest Fest. Watch the chefs shucking oysters, and then try these delectable delights, with a smooth glass of Guinness.

The oysters will be presented in a variety of ways to taste, some straight from the shell, others garnished with exotic flavours, some cooked and some raw. There’s a flavour for every taste.

Local Tipples Pairing Dinner

We have come up with a great way to taste and enjoy some of Waterford City’s best local tipples and have put together a fantastic drinks pairing meal.

Presented by SUAS Restaurant at The Reg, join three of Waterford City’s most passionate drinks producers for a three course meal in the heart of the Viking Triangle. Each course will be inspired by and paired with one of their creations. On the night, meet the people behind Anchor Spirits (Muldoon Whiskey Liqueur, Thin Gin & Spike Island Rum), Metalman Brewing Co. and the newest kid on the block, Viking Irish Cider. Eg Metalman Beer Battered Fish and Chips

The producers will introduce their drinks and share a little bit of the magic that makes them so special.

Tickets are available from The Reg for €35 per person or a table of 4 for €120
