Having reviewed our single-use plastic last year, The Reg has made a huge difference in regards to single use plastics and our overall use on a daily basis.

There is always more to be done and we are aware that there are other areas that we can reduce our usage, but we are delighted to have reduced our single-use plastic significantly over the last 11 months.

Since June 2018, we changed our plastic straws to bio-degradable paper straws and these now are the only straws available and only available on request. We have given out over 35,500 straws to our customers! That’s 35,500 plastic straws that haven’t ended up in dumps or in the sea!!

Small changes, but we are very proud of ourselves!
